• PIN Protection: Downloads are protected with a PIN code that you set for each sharing session.
• Temporary Storage: Files are temporarily stored on your device during the sharing session.
• Auto-Expiration: All shared files automatically disappear when the session expires (1-10 minutes).

File Handling

When you share files through FlashDrop:

• Local Processing: Files are processed and served locally from your device.
• No Upload: Files never leave your local network or device.
• Automatic Cleanup: Files are automatically deleted when the sharing session ends.
• No Permanent Storage: We do not store any files on external servers or cloud services.

Permissions

FlashDrop may request the following permissions:

• Photo Library Access: To allow you to select photos and videos for sharing.
• Document Access: To allow you to select documents from your device storage.
• Local Network Access: To enable file sharing between devices on the same network.
